Our Customer Support team is in Wellington and we’re going to be a little light on the ground today as most of our people will be staying out of the city.

Scheduled maintenance

Trade Me will be unavailable on Saturday, 12 November between 2:00 am and 5:00 am for scheduled maintenance. All auctions that are due to close between 2:00 am and 6:00 am will be extended by four hours.

If you’re an Android user, we’ve got some great news! Today we launched our new Trade Me Jobs Android app.

Download our new app and you’ll be able to search, view, Watchlist and apply for any of the 18,000+ listings currently on Trade Me Jobs.

One of the best features of the app is the ability to discard listings that aren’t what you’re looking for. With a simple swipe, they won’t be returned in future searches. More...

List your items in a second category

Today we released a new product that allows you to list some Marketplace items in a second category. For now, we’re A/B testing this with 30% of members on the desktop site.

Many of you have told us this is something you’d like to do because it can be hard deciding which category is best and you want to reach the biggest audience.

We’ll be testing how this product works and whether people use it. If everything’s all good, we’ll change our current terms and conditions (which say you can only list in one category) and release it out to everyone. More...

An update to our Stores terms and conditions

As we announced two weeks ago, we're making some changes to Stores and Stores Extra, as we update the look and feel of Trade Me to a more responsive and modern site. Those changes come into effect today.
